Hello! I’m Lana and I’m Platform’s Secretary this year. Having been a part of the dance and performing arts societies I was introduced to Platform at the festival last year as an audience member and doughnut-eater, and was really impressed by the talent and imagination on display. I’m excited to be part of something that not only provides a great platform (sorry) for all the independent creativity at Sheffield but also works for an amazing local cause like Cavendish Cancer Care – and above all, is incredibly fun! Whether you’re performing at the festival or taking part in a workshop, there really is something at Platform for everyone. I’m really looking forward to seeing what the society can achieve this year and hope to help Platform reach as many people as possible.
